About Sustainable Harvesters
Located at 27800 Krezdorn Rd, Hockley, TX 77447, Sustainable Harvesters operates as a hydroponics store serving Hockley in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Hockley, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–2 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 27 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Hockley is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hockley follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nice and clean grow house. Especially interested in the aquaponics and sustainable process of growing. Pleasant drive in the countryside just outside Houston. Tours available thru website.

Biggest waste of money. I took my mum and dad who were visiting from the U.K. and farm there, as something to do in Houston that they may be interested in. 45 minutes and $120 later we left feeling totally ripped off. If you are planning to go, don't expect any samples for your $40 and I also realized after we went they do Groupon deals for tours.

Amazing farm and very fresh produce! Matthew and Andrew are very knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to leafy greens. I love shopping from them and would recommend it to anyone who buys produce! You can find them at several farmer's market. The difference in flavor and appearance is extremely superior as compared to grocery store bought or any hydroponic products. Keep it up guys!
